Semolina Bread – Baking with Julia

This weeks recipe is Semolina Bread.  It is a yeasted bread made with Semolina flour.  It was a long process of 2 hour risings between each step. The dough didn’t rise as much as I would have expected.

It was a very sticky dough so when it came time to use the razor blade for the slash lines the dough deflated a little.

I decided to use an egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

It was very good toasted with butter.

Hosts this week:  Anna of Keep it Luce and Renee of The Way to My Family’s Heart. Be sure to check out the Tuesday’s with Dorie website for all of the posts.
